St. Anne Catholic School, guided by ISTE national standards for technology, offers a grade-relevant comprehensive computer literacy program for students from PK through 8th grade, which includes age-appropriate digital citizenship coursework for all grades. Opportunities for teachers and staff to innovate and integrate the use of technology help promote student readiness, while also using technology as learning assessments.
Early childhood students have access to iPads and computers in the classroom. Beginning in PK4 through the 4th grade students visit the computer lab for dedicated technolgy instsruction. A 1:1 Chromebook program engages students in grades 5 through 8 via Google Classroom, a cohesive platform to manage student and teacher communication.
The makerspace program prepares all students to think critically, master challenges, and collaborate. Access to tools, materials, and manipulatives, inspire students to tinker, design, and invent. By presenting hands-on experiences, students are limited only by their imagination!
