Admissions Process

Applications for the 2018-2019 academic year are no longer being accepted.  The 2019-2020 admission cycle begins on September 1, 2018.  Please contact Danielle Aleman, Director of Admissions, with any questions.


Our admissions process begins with a tour. Tours are held every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. or by appointment for our out of town prospective families. For reservations, please call the School Office at 713-526-3279 or click here to schedule a tour online.


Complete application files must be submitted no later than February 1, 2018 to be considered for the 2018-2019 school year. The applications for students who have siblings that are current St. Anne students, must be received no later than December 1, 2017 in order for them to be considered as sibling status.


in applying to St. Anne Catholic School, please complete the Application and Authorization to Release Form.  Submit the online application, and pay a $100.00, non-refundable, application fee. This fee is per family and can be paid securely online by clicking here.

Additionally, submit the following documents to

  • Birth certificate
  • Baptismal certificate, if Catholic
  • First Communion certificate, if applicable
  • Copy of current report card & most recent standardized test results
  • Authorization to Release Information (PDF)
  • Teacher Recommendation Forms (PDF to be sent directly to St. Anne Catholic School from the current school)
  • Copies of immunization records

In addition, the following requirements must be met for specific grade levels:

  • PK3- three years old prior to September 1 and toilet trained prior to the first day of school
  • PK4- four years old prior to September 1
  • Kindergarten- five years old prior to September 1 and developmental readiness test
  • 1st grade- six years old prior to September 1

Once all the above information has been received, your application will be listed by the date it was received and prioritized according to this policy:

  • Siblings of students presently attending St. Anne Catholic School
  • Registered parishioners of St. Anne Catholic Church for at least six months prior to the opening of school registration
  • Registered parishioners of other Archdiocesan parishes
  • All others


After completing the admissions process, the Admissions Committee will meet and review the student’s application. Interviews are scheduled based on projected available openings and the strength of the student’s application. Interviews are held with the prospective student and the parent/guardian. Applicants who are not contacted for an interview will be contacted with information on how to keep the file active for any future openings.


St. Anne Catholic School follows a policy of non-discrimination with regard to race, color, or ethnic origin within its Christian philosophy. The policy of non-discrimination refers to the acceptance and participation of all students. The School adheres to the policies stipulated by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Admission to St. Anne Catholic School is based on class capacity, the availability of resources as well as the developmental, scholastic and behavioral qualifications of the applicant. All applicants are required to participate in the School’s admission interview and screening process. The School Principal has final authority over all admission decisions and may waive any admissions criterion at his/her discretion.


General admission for the 2017-2018 school year is closed. Applications may be considered if there are available openings in the applicant’s grade. Applications for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted beginning September 8, 2017. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2018. Applications may be considered after the deadline if there is an opportunity for the grade.
