Monica Durica

School Counselor

Ms. Durica is the School Counselor.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio and a Masters of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.  She is a member of the American School Counselor Association.

Nancy Ruiz

First Grade Teacher

Nancy Ruiz joined the faculty in 2015 as a Kindergarten teacher.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston, a Master’s of Science in Education from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and is currently working on her Doctorate in  Education  at the University of Saint Thomas.  She brings 13 years of teaching experience to the classroom.

Pamela McCollom

3rd Grade Teacher

Mrs. McCollom has been with us since 2005.  She is a graduate of Wichita State University and holds a Master’s in Education  in Curriculum Development and Instruction from the University of Saint Thomas.

R. Virginia Torres

PreK 3 Teacher Aide

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Mrs. Torres has a degree in Pedagogy from The University of Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She has been working at St. Anne Catholic School for 14 years.

Ramon Herrera

School Campus Security Officer

Officer Ramon has been a part of the St. Anne Community since 2002.  He was raised in Houston and is an avid Texans fan.  Officer Ramon worked for Metro building the test track before he came to St. Anne.

Samantha Briones

1st Grade Teacher's Aide

Ms. Briones is a teacher’s aide in Mrs. Ruiz’s 1st grade classroom.  She is currently studying to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Education.  Ms. Briones is the mother of a St. Anne student.

Sanjuanita Cisneroz

Assistant Principal

Sanjuanita Cisneroz attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. After her undergraduate studies, she returned to Houston to work as a Congressional Aide for a United States Representative. She then felt a calling to teach. She went on to teach Spanish at Yes Prep to 6th and 7th graders, while receiving her teacher certification from Region 4. After receiving her teaching certification, she started teaching at the elementary level. Sanjuanita was then accepted into the Texas A&M Graduate Program, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Public School Administration. Sanjuanita is coming to us from Burbank Middle School, where she was an Assistant Principal and the administrator over the reading department.

Sanjuanita firmly believes that educators are crucial in developing the spiritual, academic, emotional, and social skills of our students. Inspiring students to dream big is a non-negotiable. Her vision of a successful school consists of administrators, teachers and staff, parents, and community members working together to offer a vast amount of opportunities for our students to grow. Knowing that our students are aware that they have a purpose in life will help achieve her mission of developing well-rounded citizens.

Sarah Booe

4th, 5th and 6th Grade Science

Sarah Booe joined the faculty of St. Anne Catholic School in 2016.  She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Telecommunications and Film with a minor in Theatre.  She was an engineer recruiter for three years before deciding to follow her passion and earn her teaching certificate.  Sarah did her formative years of school in Kuwait and London and has even crawled through the Pyramids!  Mrs. Booe teaches 4th-6th grade Science. 

Stefanie Farris

Assistant to Director of Advancement and Admissions

Stefanie joined the staff as Assistant to the Advancement and Admissions Director.  She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and has a Bachelors of Arts in Family and Consumer Sciences with a focus on Event Planning and Hospitality.  She has experience in the classroom as a substitute teacher and supervisor and has taught children ages 3-6 from St. Catherine’s Montessori School in Houston, TX.
