School Board

The St. Anne Catholic School Board serves as an advisory body that assists the Pastor and Principal with policymaking in matters of education. The Board is responsible to the Pastor for achieving archdiocesan and parish goals for education; for reviewing and proposing the budget for the school; and for reporting on the status of education in the school.

Discernment for a three year position on the School Board is open to all parishioners and parents of children attending St. Anne Catholic School. Members must be Virtus trained and attend and participate in all meetings.

Angel Ayala

Angel is serving his second year on the school board and is a member of the Finance Committee and the Discernment Committee.  Angel and his wife, Rita, are parishioners at St. Anne and they have two children, Alessandra and Nicolas, who attend St. Anne Catholic School.  Angel is the Americas Planning & Appraisal Manager for Shell Lubricants.

Chris Lindstrom

Chris is a second year member of the school board and serves on the Policy and Advancement Committees.  He is a Shareholder at Cooper & Scully, P.C., where he practices commercial, insurance and personal injury litigation.  Chris and his wife, Gricelda, have been parishioners since 2006.  Their three children, Lucia, Rocco and Raif all attend St. Anne Catholic School.

Chris Price

Chris is serving his first year on the school board.  Chris is not only a St. Anne Catholic School alum (class of 1990) but he has also been a parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church for most of his life.  He and his wife Amy were married at St. Anne Catholic Church and currently have three boys enrolled in St. Anne Catholic School.  Chris is an Energy Trader at Direct Energy where he has worked since 2006.

Christie Shopoff

Christie is a partner at Deloitte specializing in corporate taxation.  Christie is serving her second year on the school board.  She chairs the Finance Committee and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee.  She and her husband, Michael, have been married for 18 years and have been parishioners at St. Anne Catholic Church since 2009.  They have two children, Courtney and Colt, both of whom attend St. Anne Catholic School.

Christopher O'Docharty

Chris is serving his second year on the school board and is Chair of the Policy Committee and sits on the Advancement Committee.  As a native Houstonian, Chris grew up in Kingwood and then attended the University of Texas at Austin.  He is Co-president of Omni Media Partners LLC and a volunteer soccer coach and t-ball coach.  His daughter Dylan and son John both attend St. Anne Catholic School.  They have been parishioners since 2006.

Jennifer Tessin

Jennifer is serving her first year as a school board member and has been a parishioner since graduating from college and moving to Houston.  Jennifer has worked in Houston for Accenture for the past 15+ years, focusing on technology consulting for energy clients.  Jennifer is a member of the Strategic Planning and Advancement Committees.  Jennifer enjoys volunteering at the school and is currently serving as the 2nd grade Brownie troop leader.  Jennifer has two children attending St. Anne, Paige and Garrett.

Jonathan Bennett

Jonathan is a third year member of the school board.  He serves on the Strategic Planning Committee, the Finance Committee and assists as the Technology Liaison.  Jonathan and his wife of 14 years, Julie, have been parishioners at St. Anne Catholic Church since 2008.  They have three children.  Jonathan is the Director of Solar Fleet Management at NRG Home Solar and uses big data to make sound business decisions.

Kathleen Barnosky

Mrs. Barnosky joined St. Anne Catholic Community as an Assistant Principal in 1999 and became our School Principal in 2001. She has 19 years of teaching experience across the United States, 13 years experience in church administration and more than ten in school administration.

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Barnosky earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in St. Mary-of-the-Woods, IN as well as a Master of Arts from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Her additional studies include graduate level courses in Educational Administration at St. Thomas University in Houston, TX.
